We have just sold our second house through Brad Sissons.

I first heard about Brad Sissons through good friends of ours who had decided to sell their property in South Brisbane. They also had heard about Brad through friends and decided to go ahead with him after the first meeting. When our friends spoke to us about their experience, I have to admit, my first thoughts were that some of Brad’s ideas were a little extreme and that he was probably like the stereotypical real estate agent who talked people into parting with their money in order to make more money for himself.
Over time I was to be proven very wrong. Our friends were able to secure a record price for the
property sold in an increasingly difficult economic situation. Brad’s advice and professionalism had made all the difference and within a few months our friends were in a new property of their dreams after benefiting from the impressive sale price Brad was able to achieve for them.
My husband and I on the other hand, had decided to go with a different real estate agent – one local to our area who we were led to believe would be more suitable for selling our property. After doing our best to follow the advice from the various personnel who were assigned to us from this agency, two months later we were very frustrated and left in the situation we had feared – our property had been on the market for more than 8 weeks with a number of price drops but had not sold.
Many, many people had been shown through our property over up to 20 open house opportunities, but we had been given no written offers at all. We withdrew our property from the market and retreated to lick our wounds and consider our next move.
Although our friends had spoken in glowing terms of Brad, we felt that due to his increasing work load, and with clients much more “well healed” than ourselves, that he would not be interested in our case. I could see our dreams of selling up and moving slipping away but after further encouragement from our friends and out of desperation one afternoon I called the Brad on his mobile.
It was a Saturday and not surprisingly, my call went to a message service. I did not expect to hear back from anyone till at least Monday. To my surprise at about 6pm on the same Saturday evening, Brad himself called me back. We spoke for a while and he agreed to meet with us. When I pointed out that my husband who was doing rotational work away from home was due to leave Brisbane again for 12 days the next afternoon, Brad checked his schedule and immediately agreed to come to our home the next morning – a Sunday – around 10am. I was surprised and pleased but still not convinced that Brad would be interested in taking on our case.
This mix of class and commitment, of sophistication and down to earth readiness to assist in all aspects of selling our home continued to be evidenced throughout the working relationship. Brad’s professionalism is second to none but he is also a man who knows every aspect of the business and the human side is one he obviously has an intimate understanding of.
Brad showed empathy and professionalism in working with us while we were going through the stressful experience of selling our home while trying to work full time and continue to manage our busy lives. No doubt it is the reason why he has been so successful with helping so many others achieve their dreams as well.
After working with Brad and following carefully all his advice, we achieved a record number of people to our first open home – 28 families through, 2 verbal and 3 written offers!! We were shocked and very happily surprised that by 6pm that night we were teleconferencing with my husband to decide how to proceed. All this after just one open house!
These economic times are proving challenging for many people from all demographics. However, despite these difficulties, by working with Brad Sissons, we have achieved our dream of selling our home for a decent price to allow us to move on to next goal. Brad, we will always be grateful to you and feel indebted to you for everything you have done for us.

This was our first time buying a home and were unsure of the process. Brad was very helpful, friendly and fair. We had a few concerns come up through the process and he was available at all times, even late nights, for a prompt response.
