Tis the season to be jolly…. So what better way is there to get into the Christmas spirit than by heading along to your local Christmas Carols.

In chronological order, here’s everything you need to know:


Carols In The Reservoir in Spring Hill

When:  Saturday 1 December – Sunday 23rd December 2018

Where:  The Spring Hill Reservoir

Time:  7.30pm


Bray Park Community Christmas Carols

What: A petting zoo, jumping castles, sausage sizzle, face painting and photo booth

When: Saturday 8 December 2018

Where: 14 Youngs Crossing Road, Bray Park

Time: 4.00pm – 8.15pm


Scarborough Christmas Carols

What: Twilight markets, Christmas performers, activities and workshops plus fireworks to finish!

When: Sunday 9 December 2018

Where: Scarborough Beach Park, Landsborough Avenue

Time: 3.00pm – 8.00pm with a fireworks finale


Taigum Community Christmas Party

What: Free rides, Christmas activities, petting zoo. Carols commence at 7:15pm

When:  Sunday 9 December 2018

Where: Salvation Army North Brisbane Church

Time:  4 – 8.30pm


Narangba Community Carols

What: Face painting, jumping castle, food and entertainment before fireworks at 7:45pm

When: Sunday 9 December 2018

Where: Narangba Community Hall

Time:  4 – 8pm


Ashgrove Carols By Candlelight

What: Jazz entertainment from Rocus Band plus a visit from Santa

When: Saturday 15 December 2018

Where: Dorrington Park, Mirrabooka Road,  Ashgrove

Time: 5.00 – 8.00pm


2018 IGA Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols

What: A highlight on the Brisbane calendar, the Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols will feature Troy Cassar-Daley, Voices of Birralee Children’s Choir and The Voice Kids Winner, Alexa Curtis this year. Donations can be made to the Mater Little Miracles at the entry gates or at collection points through the evening, with all funds to be passed on directly to the charity.

When: Saturday 8 December, 2018

Where: Brisbane River Stage, Gardens Point

Time: 4.00pm – 9.15pm


Mango Hill Christmas Carols

What: Family picnic games, jumping castle, petting zoo, food markets, a visit from Santa and fireworks to finish!

When: Saturday 15 December 2018

Where: Danzy Buchaannon Park

Time:  4.00 – 8.30pm


City Of Logan Christmas Carols

What: Entertainment from former Australian Idol winner Stan Walker, the Grinch Children’s Show, food trucks, rides and the opportunity to get a free photo with Santa before the night finishes with fireworks.

When:  Saturday 15 December 2018

Where:  Griffith University Logan Campus, Meadowbrook

Time:  4.30pm – 9.30pm


Carols By Twilight

What: Sunset carols next to the Brisbane River featuring Cigany Weaver, SCAT and the Queensland Show Choir to name just a few. All sessions are free to watch. If you’re over 18 years of age, the area is licensed should you wish to bring a bottle of wine to enjoy with your meal.

When: Friday 14 – Sunday 23 December 2018

Time: 6.00pm – 8.00pm


Pine Rivers Christmas Carols

When: Sunday 16 December, 2018

Where: Pine Rivers Park, 125 Gympie Road, Strathpine

Time: 3.00pm – 8.00pm (fireworks at 7.45pm!)


Bracken Ridge Christmas Carols

What: Christmas market stalls, food trucks, a visit from Santa and fireworks to finish. Carols commence at 7pm.

When: Sunday 16 December, 2018

Where: Norris Road State School Oval

Time: 4.30pm – 8.30pm


South Bank Spirit Of Christmas

When: Friday 21 and Saturday 22 December 2018

Where:  QPAC Concert Hall

Time:  From 7.30pm


Sandstone Point Christmas Carnival

What:  Christmas carols, markets, kids rides, entertainment, food stalls, a visit from Santa and fireworks to finish!

When:  Saturday 22 December 2018

Where: Sandstone Point Hotel

Time: 12pm until late


Burpengary Joy To The World Christmas At The Shed

What: Petting Zoo, Jumping Castle, Pony Rides & Face Painting, Markets & Food Stalls from 4:00pm plus a visit from Santa!
