Clearance Rates are on the Bloom This Spring

Category: Tags :

Spring has unleashed its charm onto the property market by showing the growing demand for auctions. Since the beginning of spring, the clearance rate for properties sold under the hammer has been warming up across the country, which serves as a sign that it’s a great time to sell your property.

For the first two weekends of spring, the auction clearance rate has averaged 75 per cent across the country. While the Sunshine State is not as used to auctions as other states, Gold Coast properties have proven to create an increasing demand for auctions. Influenced by the Glitter strip, Brisbane is catching up by showing impressive results coming to 60.3 per cent clearance rate last weekend compared to 45.8 per cent the weekend prior.

While there’re not as many properties going under the hammer in Brisbane, with 82 auctions conducted last weekend, it is an excellent opportunity to upsell your property by creating a competitive environment for potential buyers.
