Blockheads Hans Baumgartner and Courtney Brown’s unit located at 3/48 Riddell Street, has sold for a record price just two weeks after hitting the market.

The property which is due to settle this week, exactly one month after hitting the market, attracted more than 35 groups through the first two open homes.

Coronis Wakerley Agent Gary Hassett said he received a significant amount of interest on the unit and multiple offers on the property, including one from an overseas buyer in the UK.

“We’ve been overwhelmed by the amount of enquires we’ve received,” Mr Hassett said.

“The property received 4684 views on domain.com.au, 4237 views on realestate.com.au and more than 50 buyers directly contacted me which resulted in a fast sale and a new complex record, surpassing the previous highest price by $7500.

“The last unit that sold in this complex in February this year was on the market for more than 130 days and sold for $16,500 less than we achieved for Unit 3 so to sell this one in two weeks is a phenomenal result for all involved.

“We’re starting to see a lot more buyer interest in two-bedroom units in Bulimba as evidenced by the slow but steady increase in median unit prices, especially from first home buyers.

“Courtney and Han’s unit was immaculately presented and offered a large, spacious outdoor area perfect for the Queensland lifestyle so I’m not surprised it was highly sought after.”
