Coronis Now Director, Jodie Stainton, has been nominated for Innovator of the Year (Individual) in the 2020 REB Awards.

Ms Stainton, who joined the Coronis team in 2018 and later launched the Groups’ first e-business model, Coronis Now, was incredibly proud to be shortlisted as a finalist.

“There is some exceptional people nominated in this category alongside me, who have launched or created some really cool things in our industry over the past year so it’s an honour to be recognised along side of them,” Ms Stainton said.

“Coronis Now has long been a pipe dream of mine, so for it to finally become a reality with the help of Andrew Coronis, Jodi Ford, Karuna Dimelow and the wider Coronis Group was just amazing.

“The whole concept of Coronis Now is to help Property Managers build a business of their own, work for themselves, choose their own hours and most importantly create an asset for themselves which they can later sell.

“In our first year, we’ve already helped more than 30 people do that and I can’t wait to see what we do in our second year. I have some ambitious goals and we’re well on the way to achieving them.

“We’ll launch our first Coronis Now business in Victoria in July which means we’ll have partners in four states including Western Australia, New South Wales and Queensland.

“I just want to say thank you to all our incredible Coronis Now Principals who have put their trust in me and this business model and for taking a leap of faith by starting their own business through Coronis.

“Your support, feedback and friendship over the past 12 months has been instrumental in getting the business to where it’s at today and I am so very grateful.”

Coronis Managing Director Andrew Coronis said he was very impressed by Jodie’s idea when she originally pitched it to him in 2018.

“It’s no secret Jodie has one of the best minds in property management in the industry,” Mr Coronis said. “So when she pitched this innovative and unique idea to us, it was a no-brainer to support her and help bring her vision to life.

“She has worked extremely hard since to launch this business and she’s really just standing on the starting blocks. I’m looking forward to watching her grow this company in the coming years and achieve her ultimate goal… which is to change more than 3000 lives.

“On behalf of the entire Coronis team, congratulations Jodie. Not only on being recognised as a finalist in the Innovator of the Year – Person category, but also for Innovator of the Year – Company for Coronis Now. Very proud of you.”
