Newsflash: Restrictions Relaxed on Open Home Inspections

An update from Andrew Coronis:

The Queensland Government yesterday made an announcement to relax home inspection restrictions amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Up until now when inspecting a property there could only be two people from the same household plus an agent to inspect the home.

The announcement yesterday now allows for open house inspections with a maximum of 6 people including the agent inside the building at any one time, with no more than one person per 4 square meters allowed. Social distancing should always be observed.

The announcement was made via the Queensland Health website.

As the Managing Director of Coronis Group, I welcome the news for the real estate industry.

Whilst we have been able to conduct private inspections for our currents sellers homes with qualified buyers during the COVID-19 pandemic, it will certainly be easier for sellers and buyers to transact with the easing of the restrictions.

There is still strong buyer interest at the moment and I feel this latest news will only give confidence to buyers in this market.
