Outer Brisbane Suburb Outperforms Inner City Prices

Category: Tags :

Although the suburb of Rochedale is situated farther from the Brisbane CBD, its median house sale price has grown to more than some inner-city favourites.

The southern suburb's median has risen 6.1 per cent in the last year, reaching $970,000 in September.

The price is said to have been driven up by high demand where buyers prefer new houses, rather than pre-existing properties close to the city.

Rochedale, being located between the Brisbane CBD and Logan, is also accessible to new shopping centres and schools.
