SEQ Suburbs Lead National Price Growth

Category: Tags :

Price growth in Australia is being led by suburbs around the Brisbane region, with many of them having experienced a double-digit growth.

At the top of the list is Gumdale, having seen a rise in price of almost 40 per cent in the 12 months to May and is currently sitting at a median of $1.1 million.

Gumdale is one of the closest acreage suburbs to the CBD, located only 15-20 minutes away, and is near sought-after schools. Meanwhile, in the Southern States, the areas that recorded the highest growth were regional areas. Dudley in New South Wales saw 25 per cent growth, and Lovely Banks, Victoria is up 26 per cent.
