Family-run real estate business Coronis has netted an impressive six nominations at this year’s Real Estate Business Awards, partnered by

Featuring 27 categories in total, Coronis is in the running for six awards including the coveted Major Independent of the Year award which the company won at the 2015 event.

Now in its fifth consecutive year, the Real Estate Business Awards recognises the industry’s leading agents, property managers and office groups. 

Coronis Managing Director, Andrew Coronis, said he was incredibly proud of his team and their efforts during 2016 which is what ultimately enabled us to earn a nomination in every category we entered.
“I am very proud," Mr Coronis said. “It’s an honour to see the team, and in particular Jack, Megan, Lisa and Mathew excelling in their fields and representing the Coronis brand with such pride.
“It’s a true reflection of our company’s client focused ethos and our efforts to implement state of the art technology over the past 12 months.”

Nominations include:

  • Major Independent of the Year - 10 OR MORE AGENTS
  • Property Management Business of the Year - 6 or more property managers
  • Newcomer of the Year - (Jack Harvey)
  • Property Manager of the Year – Metropolitan (Lisa Bright)
  • Property Manager of the Year – Regional (Megan Springall)
  • Residential Mortgage Broker of the Year (Matthew Crossley)


The Coronis Property Management department have claimed three of the six award nominations.
“Our Property Management department are truly at the top of their game. Lisa Bright and Megan Springall are shining examples of our quality PM team and consistently receive the highest praise from their clients.
“The whole team has excelled this past year, most notably decreasing our maintenance turnaround time by 66% and our arrears to less than 1% through new systems which has benefited our 8000 managements across South East Queensland,” Mr Coronis said.
Tim Neary, editor for REB, said the REB Awards serve to recognise the industry’s most innovative agents and businesses – those who are able to flourish in the face of the industry’s ongoing disruptive challenges.
“The REB Awards are the pre-eminent business awards for the real estate industry in Australia,” said Mr Neary.
“All of the finalists embody the level of service and dedication that both sellers and buyers have come to expect from the country’s real estate professionals.
The winners will be announced on Thursday, July 6 at an awards ceremony at the International Convention Centre in Sydney.
