Suburb That Saw The Most Growth In 10 Years
A new study reveals a list of Brisbane suburbs that have seen the highest growth in the past decade.
New Farm tops the list having risen from a median price of $900,000 to $1,586,000. The suburb and its neighbours have undergone drastic changes due to the urban renewal process, with surrounding restaurants, bars and shops being the top the attractors of Sydney and Melbourne buyers.
A surprising inclusion in the top 5 is Wishart, a middle-ring suburb that is located at the nexus of local school catchments, including that of Mansfield High, the second-ranked state high in Brisbane. Median prices in the suburb have risen 65.1 per cent to $710,000.
