Donate & win an iPhone 12
On March 17, 2021 our Managing Director Andrew Coronis will commence a 547km bike ride through the Adelaide Hills as part of the Jodi Lee Foundation JLF Ride 2021.
The ride is the ultimate endurance event which tests the riders both physically and mentally, as they climb an estimated elevation of 6765 meters over four days to help raise awareness of bowel cancer and funds to help research treatments.
Mr Coronis said he was participating as it was a great cause to support, with one Australian dying every 2 hours due to bowel cancer.
“Australia has one of the highest rates of bowel cancer in the world, and is the second most common cause of cancer -related deaths in Australia after lung cancer so it’s imperative that we keep raising awareness about it and encouraging people to get checked,” Mr Coronis said.
“If detected early, 99% of bowel cancers can be successfully treated or even prevented so by participating in this ride, I hope to at least start a few conversations about bowel cancer and more importantly raise necessary funds to help the Jodi Lee Foundation fight the good fight.
“So to help, I’ve bought a brand new iPhone 12 that I am going to raffle off at the end of my bike ride.
“Anyone can enter, all you need to do is make a donation of $20 or more via my fundraising page on the Jodi Lee Foundation website and you’ll be in the draw.
“I’m aiming to raise at least $2500 but if we raise more, than that would be wonderful. Every dollar will go towards a great cause and hopefully help save lives.
